Lancaster County CTC

Every year, some of our students decide to attend Lancaster County Career and Technology Center (CTC) to learn skills for a specific career field of interest to them. These opportunities include experiential learning in a variety of career fields that lead to industry-recognized certifications.

Students who attend CTC still receive a Lancaster Catholic diploma, are able to participate in school sports/activities and get the full Lancaster Catholic experience. There is also a tuition discount for students who attend CTC. While the opportunities at CTC do allow students to gain employment immediately following high school, many students still do choose to go on to higher education to further their careers.

11th Grade Cluster Programs

At LCHS, students can begin attending CTC during their 11th-grade year. During junior year, students are assigned to the morning session at the Brownstown campus for all cluster programs. Cluster programs allow students to sample many different careers within a specific area of interest and decide what they would like to specialize in if they decide to transition to a full-day program for senior year.

The following clusters are available:

Transportation for Cluster Programs: LCHS is committed to providing mid-morning transportation from the Brownstown campus to Lancaster Catholic so that students will be back in time for their afternoon schedule at LCHS. Should parents/guardians arrange for their student to attend a cluster session other than the morning session at Brownstown, families are responsible for making transportation arrangements on their own. Please note that CTC does not permit junior students to drive themselves without special permission.
