. Daily Spiritual Life
One of the most important aspect of the Campus Ministry Program is the daily elements. To set the tone for the year we establish a Theme. Each room in the school is provided with a poster that reminds our community of the theme for the year. We offer resources to teachers and staff on ways to work the theme into their daily routine and use the theme to steer our retreats and assembly for the year.
Prayer is an important part of the day at LCHS. Campus Ministry provides morning and lunch prayers that reflect the liturgical season of the church. We also support the staff if they need a prayer for their class or activities.
The Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet are also offered on a regular basis in the Chapel.
And finally we are available to support students and staff as needed. Sometimes its a piece of chocolate to sooth the nerves of a rough day or a place to come and talk about a struggle or challenge in their lives. Sacraments
The celebration of the Eucharist is a regular part of the LCHS week. On a varied schedule we offer Mass in the chapel for our students and staff. Mass on Friday is usually first period before Adoration, or at 3pm at the end of the school day.
About once a month we gather in Berger Gym as a community to celebrate the Sacred Liturgy as community, often times on feast days or for especial occasions.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is scheduled three time a year for the whole student body. September, Advent and Lent. Our Chaplin and visiting priests also are available during lunch periods on occasion. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Each Friday from around 8:30am until 3pm we have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The Monstrance is on the Altar for private devotion of religion classes who come to say a rosary or spend part of the class in prayer. A team of volunteer parents help make this spiritual opportunity a reality for our community. For more information on Adoration at LCHS click here. Special Events
