Homecoming Announcements and Events

Over the course of eight days, Lancaster Catholic will celebrate Homecoming. 
 
To kick-off the festivities, Lancaster Catholic will have Spirit Week. Spirit Week starts Monday, Oct. 16th and ends the 20th. 

Monday, October 16th-  On Monday the theme is "One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flying Purple and Gold People Eaters." Students are allowed to wear Crusader Purple and Gold colors in a full casual dress day. 

Tuesday, October 17th-  For Tuesday, the theme is "Tie-DIE." Students are allowed to dress in tie-dye apparel in a full casual dress day. 

Wednesday, October 18th- This day is dedicated to "Haunting Halloween Costumes" and "Classroom Trick or Treating." Students are asked to wear appropriate Halloween costumes for this casual dress day. Students may not wear masks or face paint. Classroom Trick or Treating will take place during the school day.

Thursday, October 19th- The theme for Thursday is "Thrilling Throwback Thursday." Students are requested to dress in their favorite decade or style for this causal dress day. 

On Friday, the students will have the opportunity to enjoy Field Day and the Homecoming Football game. 

Friday, October 20th- On the final day of Spirit Week, there will be a "Petrifying Pep Rally" held and the favorite "Frightening Field Day of DOOM." On this day students are asked to wear their class colors for this casual dress day. 
  • Freshmen -Ghoulish Green
  • Sophomores -Rattling Red
  • Juniors -Bloodcurdling Blue
  • Seniors -Creepy Crawly Class T-Shirt
Field Day highlights include: Homecoming Court Pie Contest and Powder Puff football. 
 
Lunch for the day will be available from the following food trucks and organizations.

  • Lancaster Burger Co.
  • Bricker’s Fries
  • Penny’s Ice Cream
  • MINI-THON Bake Sale
  • Concession Stand Provided by the Cafeteria Staff
The Homecoming Football game is against Columbia High School and will begin at 7 pm. Homecoming Queen will be announced at half-time. 

Prior to the start of the game, last year's graduated class will be present to dedicate their Senior Class gift of the mural at the Crusader Stadium Field House. Please join our most recent alums in recognizing their efforts to add to an already welcoming environment for students, parents, alumni and guests to Lancaster Catholic Crusader Stadium.  Mrs. Deb Waters, Director of Campus Ministry and Senior Class Advisor will preside over the brief ceremony
 
The Alumni Homecoming Reception will be held at the Lancaster Catholic High School building prior to the football game at Lancaster Catholic Crusader Stadium. Alumni are encouraged to tour Lancaster High School and enjoy a wine and cheese mixer from 5-6:30 pm. 
 
Saturday, October 21st- To end the Homecoming celebration week, the Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, October 21st from 7-10 pm in Berger Gym.
