The Lancaster Catholic High School Library serves the students in all of their academic endeavors. Computer work stations, on-line resources, magazine room, reference materials and books and more are readily available. When in the Library the school's technology policy is to be followed. Personal and school electronic devices are to be used for school related assignments only.
The Library opens Monday-Friday at 7:30 AM. After school the Library is open until 3:30, Monday-Thursday. Friday the Library closes at 3:15. On occasion the schedule may vary so check the calendar posted on the Library's main door for days when the library may be closed before or after school. Students may come to the Library during scheduled study halls. Report to your assigned study hall for attendance and then sign-out for the Library. See your student agenda book for additional rules and regulations for the Library.
All incoming freshmen and new transfer students complete Library Skills - a series of lessons which will help students become proficient in the use of library resources, especially for research. Freshmen will come to the library with their assigned English and History classes to complete their library packet. Transfer upperclassmen will complete the packet independently during their scheduled study halls.
