Mrs. Mary Lopez

Mrs. Lopez is a graduate of many universities, programs and disciplines. These include a BA in English and a MEd in Counseling from Widener University, and a MA in English from Millersville University. Additionally, she has attended the Bearing Witness training program for Holocaust education, and is currently taking classes in the Program for Teaching East Asia (TEA) through the University of Colorado Boulder.

While at LCHS, she is honored to be the Librarian, Middle States co-chair and co-moderator of the Respect Life Club. In her past life, she was Assistant Director of Admissions and Adjunct Instructor of English at a Philadelphia area university, and is always available to aid with college applications and essays. She invites students to bring all forms of writing to her for evaluation and next-level elevation.

In addition to recommending books, Mrs. Lopez is always improving her knife throwing skills. While they have not improved much over the last 7 years here at Catholic, there's always time.
