Lancaster Catholic Graduation Award Ceremony

The Joseph Andrew Breslin ’89 Graduation Award is awarded to a senior who excels in Physics, Mathematics, Music and Character. This award was donated in honor of Joseph Andrew Breslin '89 by Dr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Breslin. Joseph was a 1989 LCHS graduate, exceptional in Physics and Math, and a talented musician, who passed away in a tragic automobile accident in 1993. The Breslin family honors him with this award.

Caraline Rose Young is the 2019 recipient of The Joseph Andrew Breslin ’89 Graduation Award for Physics.

Sebastian Raymond Klemmer is the 2019 recipient of The Joseph Andrew Breslin ’89 Graduation Award for his work in Mathematics.

Peter Michael Krimmel is the 2019 recipient of The Joseph Andrew Breslin ’89 Graduation Award for his dedication to Music.

Grace Lin Bedesem is the 2019 recipient of The Joseph Andrew Breslin ’89 Graduation Award for Character.

The Charles and Helen Woskowiak Music Award was donated by Dr. Frances Leona Woskowiak in 2013 in honor of her parents who supported the arts and music. This award honors an outstanding senior musician whose talents have faithfully served school and church and who will be majoring in Music in college.

Sebastian Raymond Klemmer is the 2019 recipient of The Charles and Helen Woskowiak Music Award.

The Catherine Walker '97 Performing Arts Award is awarded to a senior who best exemplifies the positive qualities of a performing artist: the willingness to share their God-given talents, with a genuine supportive interest in fellow performers with unbridled curiosity and a cheerful disposition. This award was donated by Mr. Joseph Patton.

Claire Campbell Wolfe is the 2019 recipient of The Catherine Walker '97 Performing Arts Award.

The Our Mother of Perpetual Help School Hecker & Gerhart Scholarship Fund Award is donated by the families of OMPH and Mrs. William Hecker. This perpetual award recognizes a graduate of OMPH who has demonstrated scholastic ability, commitment to school and community service.

Michael Brezina is the 2019 recipient of The Our Mother of Perpetual Help School Hecker & Gerhart Scholarship Fund Award.

Jeanette Gigl a '39 grad, committed her life to service of LCHS. The Lancaster Catholic High School Jeanette Gigl '39 Award honors her memory by recognizing a student who exemplifies Miss Gigl's passion, commitment to excellence, kindness and faith. This award is donated by Lancaster Catholic High School's Fine & Performing Arts department and Mr. Tony Brill.

Jordan Elizabeth Fritsch is the 2019 recipient of The Lancaster Catholic High School Jeanette Gigl '39 Award.

The Catholic War Veterans Post 1306 Cross of Peace Award highlights the Post 1306's commitment to fostering Catholic Education and goes to a deserving senior to further their education upon graduation.

Brooke Marie Bechtold is the 2019 recipient of The Catholic War Veterans Post 1306 Cross of Peace Award.

Rose Marie Strosser Lucks was a beloved Math teacher at Lancaster Catholic High School who exemplified her Catholic faith and a commitment to student learning. She unexpectedly passed away in 2000, and The Rose Marie Strosser-Lucks '70 Award sponsored by the Strosser-Lucks families. 

George Robert Urig is the 2019 recipient of The Rose Marie Strosser-Lucks '70 Award.

Anthony J. "Tony" Haefner was a vibrant, compassionate '89 graduate, son and brother who was killed by a drunk driver in 1996. The Anthony J. "Tony" Haefner '88 Award is donated by Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Haefner and goes to a graduating senior who exemplifies his spirit, a love of animals and an interest in environmental causes.

Alison Elizabeth Stauffer is the 2019 recipient of The Anthony J. "Tony" Haefner '88 Award.

The Michael A. Jones, Class of 1993, Award goes to a graduating senior whose character exemplifies the fruits of the Holy Spirit and who will be majoring in Science or Animal Sciences in college. The award was donated by Mr. & Mrs. Edmund C. Jones.

Rebecca Noelle Ressel is the 2019 recipient of The Michael A. Jones, Class of 1993, Award.

The Lancaster Catholic High School Joseph McCaskey Award is presented to a graduating senior who throughout their years at LCHS exemplified a passion and commitment to excellence, kindness and faith and who is pursuing a college degree in Music. The award in honor of former Band Director, Joseph McCaskey '64 and donated by  Dr. & Mrs. Gary P. Gilroy.

Rebecca Noelle Ressel is the 2019 recipient of The Lancaster Catholic High School Joseph McCaskey Award.

The Gregory Pautler '80 Award recognizes two graduating seniors pursuing four-year degrees in business. Established in 2016 by Mr. & Mrs. Gene Pautler this award honors the vibrant life of Greg Pautler. It is the family's hope that these seniors would emulate Greg's passion and aptitude for sales and marketing and vigor for life.

Maria Guevara and Dwayne Caine are the 2019 recipients of The Gregory Pautler '80 Award.

The Anthony DiPaolo Award honors long-time teacher & coach, Anthony DiPaolo and provides a college scholarship to a graduating senior who has played four years of football at Catholic High and who has excelled academically, as well as athletically. The Anthony DiPaolo Award is donated by the DiPaolo family.

Luke Jeffrey Miller is the 2019 recipient of The Anthony DiPaolo Award.

Kiyana McGill-Jefferson and Luke Jeffrey Miller are the 2019 recipients of the Lawrence Berger Scholar-Athlete Award.

Baccalaureate will be held at St. John Neumann on Wednesday, May 22nd with Graduation at Lancaster Catholic High School on Thursday, May 23rd at 7 PM. Tickets are required for both events.
