Lancaster Catholic Celebrates NSD 22

Fourteen Crusaders signed National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers in college on Wednesday, National Signing Day. Three student-athletes are moving on to NCAA Division I schools, two are going to Division II institutions and nine others will play at Division III universities and colleges.

Eric Howe signed to wrestle at George Mason University, a DI school in Fairfax, Va. He joined the 100-win club earlier this season and won the LL League Championship last week at 120 lbs.

Daniel Mueller, who was the football team’s kicker and punter, signed to be a specialist at Villanova, a NCAA DI school that participates in the FCS Division. He earned PIAA All-Star Selection as a senior kicker.

Brandon Wingenroth will continue his academic and athletic career at Penn State University. The standout on the diamond has led Lancaster Catholic to two league championships in his career and he ranks as the No. 7 SS in the state according to Perfect Game.
