Late last night, members of the school staff were alerted to a string of text messages appearing to contain a threat to our school. Because the safety of our students and staff are our top priority, all threats are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly.
Police were immediately informed and agreed that the content represented a possible threat and began their investigation. Out of an abundance of caution, classes for today were canceled while the police investigation continued.
At this time, the police have determined that there is no longer a credible threat to our students and staff, therefore, all afternoon activities will proceed as scheduled and classes will resume Tuesday.
