LCHS Business Symposium: Sustainability and Overcoming Obstacles

Lancaster Catholic High School seniors who are enrolled in the dual-enrollment Millersville University Entrepreneurship Program are hosting a Business Symposium on April 13, 2023 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Lancaster Catholic High School. The program is free to attend.

Local alumni business leaders will be speaking about “Sustainability and Overcoming Obstacles” in their own lives.

The goal of the symposium is to increase knowledge about the skills required to start and sustain a business venture, as well as how these skills relate to daily life. Sustainability and the ability to overcome obstacles are crucial for the success of a business. Student representatives from the Entrepreneurship program will moderate the panel discussion.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets to be entered into a drawing for door prizes including gift baskets and gift cards to local restaurants and shops. Light snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit a local business.

The students have been working throughout the semester to plan the event.

“We have a great class dynamic. All four of the teams have put in a lot of effort into making this event the best it can be,” stated Nathan Hummer from the Communications Team.

The event will be held at Lancaster Catholic High School, 650 Juliette Ave, Lancaster, PA, 17601. Event parking will be available in the back parking lot of the school to enter in the Berger Gym lobby doors.
