A Message From The President

July 1, 2024

Greetings from 650 Juliette Avenue on my first day as President of Lancaster Catholic High School! I am deeply honored to serve the "loved guardian of our youth" as we look to our second century of Catholic education in Lancaster County.

Last week I was able to connect with a few Lancaster Catholic alumni living in the Boston area while attending The National Advancement Summer Institute for Catholic Schools. It was a wonderful experience and reminder of what makes our community so powerful - connection! Two alumnae who would never have met outside of our hosted gathering were able to connect, share stories, and become a resource to each other professionally. For myself, as a second-generation alumna who is proudly watching my children find their place in the Crusader family, I am deeply appreciative of the bonds that connect the Lancaster Catholic community across generations and geographies!

As I begin my tenure as President, I need to say thank you for being an essential member of our community! Your passion for Lancaster Catholic - your stories, your connections, your presence - is fuel for our mission in service to our current students. In a spirit of gratitude, I extend my thanks to our parents who are making the investment right now to provide their children with a future rooted in our strong, faith-filled community. And thank you to our faculty, staff, coaches, and moderators who live our mission every day on the frontlines with our students. Thank you to our alumni and benefactors who steward their own gifts of time, talent, and treasure to ensure the legacy of Lancaster Catholic stands firm for the next generation of Crusaders.

In addition to my gratitude, may I also extend the invitation to all of you to connect or reconnect with Lancaster Catholic High School. So many wonderful things are happening on Juliette Avenue and our students are absolutely amazing! I look forward to scheduling “Meet the President” events, as well as regional events similar to our event in Boston. In the meantime, know that you have a standing invitation to connect - call, email, find us on Facebook or LinkedIn, join us for sporting events and concerts. Our connections to each other strengthen the community that will support our current and future students and their families!

My friends, with gratitude for those who went before us, let us build and strengthen our connections so as to advance the mission of Lancaster Catholic High School.
