This school year the community of Lancaster Catholic High School dedicated the weekly Mission Collection be used to reach out to those impacted by natural disasters.
Our initial donations in September and October were supplemented by special collections and a dress down day. Recently the school sent $1,000 to Catholic Charities from the weekly Theology classroom collections to Catholic Charities with $500 earmarked for victims of the recent California wildfires and $500 earmarked for continued support for Puerto Rico’s recovery.
To date the school community has donated $4,173.35 to Catholic Charities or Catholic Relief Services.
