Lancaster Catholic High School alum Kelly Daggett was back home visiting a couple months ago during the holiday break between classes at Penn State. And she made time to drop by the LNP studio to chat with sports reporter John Walk about her journey on the lacrosse field on this week’s "Inspirational Athletes" podcast.
Daggett was a superstar girls laxer for the Lancaster Country Day/Lancaster Catholic Cougars during her high school days, garnering multiple league all-star honors and All-American selections. She has since led a successful collegiate career with Penn State, helping the Nittany Lions reach the NCAA women’s lacrosse Final Four in her freshman and sophomore campaigns each of the last two years. She’s now beginning her third season at Penn State, and excited to take on a new role with the Lions in 2018.
