LCHS Google Chromebook Transition for Juniors and Seniors
What you need to know…………….
- ALL students will be transitioning to Google Chromebooks this fall
- Students will receive their Chromebooks during Crusader Periods. Your homeroom teacher will notify you about your assigned date
- Junior class deployment will begin the week of 10/1
- Senior class deployment will begin during the week of 10/22
- Students must turn in their school issued iPad during their scheduled time to receive a Chromebook, or choose to buy the iPad “As-Is” for $25
- Student turning in their iPad must include the iPad, case, charger, and cord
- Any student choosing to purchase their iPad must present a check made payable to LCHS on the day of transition. NO CASH will be accepted.
- LCHS will no longer be able to service iPads after purchase
- Only school issued devices(Chromebooks) can be used in the classroom
- No personal devices will be used for classroom activities, unless the teacher approves
- iPads will be treated like student phones; they must be put away during the duration of each class
