Ian Lebano

My name is Ian Lebano, and I serve as the Director of Campus Ministry at Lancaster Catholic High School. I was born and raised in a Catholic family in Eastern Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia. My faith has always been an important part of my life, and during my time at Malvern Preparatory School I developed a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, retreats, and the witness of faithful mentors. Those experiences inspired a desire to dedicate my life to serving the Church and accompanying young students in their own journey of faith.

I graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville, where I continued to grow spiritually while studying and becoming actively involved in ministry. During my time there, I had the opportunity to lead retreats, mentor students, facilitate discipleship groups, and serve in evangelization. More than anything, those experiences taught me the importance of authentic relationships and the lasting impact they can have on a person’s encounter with Christ.

As Director of Campus Ministry, my mission is to help every student know that they are deeply loved by God and called to a life of holiness, purpose, and joy. I believe some of the most meaningful moments of faith happen through authentic conversations, prayer, the sacraments, retreats, service, and everyday life within our school community. My hope is that Campus Ministry is a place where every student feels welcomed, challenged, and encouraged to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ while discovering the unique gifts God has given them to serve the Church and the world.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing baseball, cheering on Philadelphia sports teams, and exploring creative ways to share the Catholic faith through social media and evangelization. It is a privilege to serve the Lancaster Catholic community, and I look forward to walking alongside our students as they continue to grow in faith, leadership, and love for Christ.
