Algebra 1 Primer $80 Early Bird (until May 1); $95 regular rate

Dates/Time/Location: Jul 22-25, 1:00-4:00pm, LCHS Room 211

Students: Students entering 9th-12th grades who will be taking Algebra 1 in the fall

Description: Led by LCHS Math teacher Mrs. Sherry Hamer, this camp is geared toward students coming into an Algebra 1 program who would like to get some extra refreshers and practice before the school year starts. Topics include: order of operations, operations with positive/negative numbers, solving equations, percents, and intro to inequalities. Topics covered line up with the textbook used in all Algebra 1 courses at LCHS.

Algebra 2 Primer $80 Early Bird (until May 1); $95 regular rate

Dates/Time: Jul 29-Aug 1, 1:00-4:00pm, LCHS Room 211

Students: Students entering 9th-12th grades who will be taking Algebra 2 in the fall

Description: Led by LCHS Math teacher Mrs. Sherry Hamer this camp is geared toward students coming into an Algebra 2 program who would like to get some extra refreshers and practice before the school year starts. Topics include: solving equations, linear functions, quadratic functions and factoring, and graphing. Topics covered line up with the textbook used in all Algebra 2 courses at LCHS.

Digital Media Camp $30 Early Bird (until May 1); $45 regular rate

Dates/Time: Aug 14-15, 10:00am-12:00pm, LCHS Room TBD

Students: Students entering 5th-9th grades

Description: Led by LCHS teacher and Yearbook Advisor Mrs. Abigail Henry and the Rosmarian yearbook staff, this technologically driven two-day camp is for young adults who are interested in web-based programming, journalism, photography, and design layout. Students will learn and collaborate with staff to write captions, design pages, and experiment taking photographs.

SAT Math Prep $115 Early Bird (until May 1); $130 regular rate

Dates/Time/Location: Jun 17-21, 9:00am-12:00pm, Room 211

Students: Students entering 10th-12th who have completed Algebra 2/will take an SAT in Fall 2019

Description: Led by LCHS Math Department Chair Mr. Dave Sharp, students in this camp will be introduced to the format and scoring procedure of the SAT and have the opportunity to develop strategies, sharpen skills, and practice problems that will enhance success on the test. Students must purchase Barron’s Math Workbook for the New SAT (6th edition)

Geometry (1 credit) $300 Early Bird (Until May 1); $350 regular rate (Closes on June 1)

Dates/Time/Location: Jul 8-12, 15-19, 22-26, 29-Aug 2; 8:00AM-12:00PM, LCHS Room 211

Students: Students entering 9th-12th grades who have already completed Algebra 1. (Note: Minimum of five students must enroll for course to run.)

Description: Led by LCHS Math teacher Mrs. Sherry Hamer, this is a one-credit course taught at the College Prep level for current Lancaster Catholic students. At the completion of this course, students will be eligible to move up to Algebra 2 for the following school year. Students who previously failed Geometry are not eligible to take this course.

Drama Fairytale Camp featuring "The Frumpled Fairytales" written by Bill Springer (LCHS '69)
$50 Early Bird (until May 1); $65 regular rate

Dates/Time/Location: June 17-19, 9:00am-12:00pm, LCHS Old Main Gym

Grades: Students entering 5th-9th

 Description: Have you ever wished to "let down your hair" like Rapunzel or "find Cinderella with just a glass slipper" like Prince Charming? In this year's fun-packed Fairytale Acting Camp, you too can find your "happily ever after." Be an evil queen, a talking mouse, or a fearsome giant. Learn awesome improvisation skills, physical warm-up and speaking skills, audition technique, and comic timing. You will have the unique privilege of producing and performing a one-act play called Frumpled Fairytales for all of your friends and families. If you have ever dreamed of becoming an actor, this is the camp for you! Camp is led by Ms. Dana Kinsey and Acting Techniques students.

 

Art Camp $50 Early Bird (until May 1); $65 regular rate

Dates/Time/Location: Aug 5-7, 9:00am-12:00pm, LCHS Art Room

Grades: Students entering 5th-9th

Description: Led by Mrs. Laurie Comerford, students will have the opportunity to work on various art skills and hone their craft.


Jazz Camp $50 Early Bird (until May 1); $65 regular rate

Dates/Time/Location: Aug 5-7, 9:00am-12:00pm, LCHS Band Room

Grades: Students entering 5th-9th

Description: Led by Mr. Dan List and assisted by the LCHS Jazz Band, students will have the opportunity to do section and group work culminating in a concert at the end of the camp.


Percussion Camp $50 Early Bird (until May 1); $65 regular rate

Dates/Time/Location: Aug 5-7, 9:00am-12:00pm, LCHS Band Room

Grades: Students entering 5th-9th

Description: Led by Mr. Paul Murr and assisted by the LCHS Percussion Ensemble, students will have the opportunity to do section and group work culminating in a concert at the end of the camp.

Baseball $80 Early Bird (Until May 1); $95 regular rate

Dates/Time/Location: Jun 24-26, 3:00-7:00pm, LCHS Baseball Stadium

Students: Students entering 4th-9th

Description: Led by LCHS baseball coach Ty Book and the Crusader baseball staff and players, this camp is for boys who are interested in developing their baseball skills. All ability levels are invited to attend.

 

Boys Basketball $80 Early Bird (Until May 1); $95 regular rate

Dates/Time: Jun 10-13, 6:00-8:00pm

Students: Students entering 4th-9th

Description: Led by the Crusader boys basketball staff and players, this camp will teach skills for the individual player and there will be team competitions as well. All ability levels are invited to attend.

 

Girls Basketball $80 Early Bird (until May 1); $95 regular rate

Dates/Time/Location: Jun 18-21, 5:30-8:00pm, Berger Gym

Students: Students entering 4th-9th

Description: Led by LCHS girls basketball coach Charlie Detz and the Crusader girls basketball staff and players, this camp will teach skills for the individual player and there will be team competitions as well. All ability levels are invited to attend.

 

Girls Soccer $80 Early Bird (until May 1); $95 regular rate

Dates/Time/Location: Jun 24-27, 6:00-8:00pm, Crusader Stadium

Students: Students entering 2nd-9th

Description: Led by LCHS girls soccer coach John Jones and the Crusader girls soccer players, this camp will teach skills for the individual player. All ability levels are invited to attend.

 

Girls Volleyball $80 Early Bird (until May 1); $95 regular rate

Dates/Time/Location: Jul 8-11, 6:00-8:00pm, Berger Gym

Students: Students entering 5th-9th

Description: Led by LCHS girls volleyball coach Julie Hoin and the Crusader girls volleyball staff and players, this camp will teach skills for the individual player. All ability levels are invited to attend.

 

Field Hockey $50 Early Bird (until May 1); $65 regular rate
Field Hockey Stick Package $95 (available until May 1)

Dates/Time/Location: June 10-13, 5:00-7:00pm, LCHS Crusader Stadium

Grades: Students entering 3rd-8th

Description: Led by LCHS field hockey coaches Megan Barben and Abby Henry and the Crusader field hockey team, this camp will help girls develop basic field hockey skills in a fun, low-stress environment. If purchasing the stick package, in addition to the camp, campers will receive a wooden stick, shin guards, a mouth guard, and a ball. A picture of the package can be found by clicking here.

 

Youth Football $20 regular rate (No Early Bird pricing)

Date/Time/Location: Jul 17, 5:00-8:00pm, LCHS Crusader Stadium

Grades: Students entering 4th-9th

Description: Led by LCHS Football Coach Todd Mealy and the Crusader football staff and players, this special one-night camp is for boys who are interested in developing their football skills and meet the LCHS coaching staff. Students will learn position-specific drills and techniques to improve both offensive and defensive play.
