Crusaders To Induct 1974 Team Into Hall of Honor

Lancaster Catholic High School will induct the 1974 Girls Basketball Team into the Athletic Hall of Honor on Sept. 13 at halftime of the home football game. The state-champion Crusaders will be the second team to receive the honor.

The 1974 Crusaders became the first-ever PIAA State Championship title in school history. Coached by Patricia Wallace, LCHS went 27-0 en route to the crown with a 75-32 victory over Baldwin in the State Championship game. The Crusaders averaged 61.1 ppg with an average margin of victory of 34.5 ppg.

Two years ago, the undefeated 1956 Football Team became the first team to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Honor.
