Guardian Angel Fund

The Guardian Angel Fund was established to aid Lancaster Catholic families in times of emergencies and support those afflicted by natural disasters. In the wake of the recent hurricanes that hit the Caribbean Islands, 
 
Many students at Lancaster Catholic have relatives in Puerto Rico that have been affected by the hurricanes and Lancaster Catholic student's, Grace Isbrandt and Isamar Alvarez-Retamar, wanted to do something  specifically to help the people in those ravaged areas as a way to help our extended LCHS families. 
 
Guided by our core values, the mission of Lancaster Catholic High School is to develop students who are intellectually astute, passionately faithful and socially responsible through a rigorous and balanced educational experience. The core values include to have a moral and civic responsibility to contribute to society and to support the larger community in the fulfillment of our mission.
 
On October 6th, a causal dress fundraiser was held to raise money for the families in Puerto Rico. Students, faculty and staff were able to dress down when a donation of any amount was given. The fundraiser raised $2,023.26 and those funds were donated to the Catholic Charities to help those families in desperate need.
