Crusaders PA Catholic Athletic Association (PCIAA) Championships

The PCIAA started in the early 1940s and was closed down around 1974-75 when Catholic schools were admitted to the PIAA. Lancaster Catholic was involved in the PCIAA for many years and hosted many State Championship events, mostly T&F. The history is not always easy to find, but through many hours pouring through newspapers, the following has been determined. Classes were based on the size of the school.  In the early years, there were just 2 classes, later a 3rd was added. The largest classes were A, the next size was B, etc.
